Surprisingly, around 41% of pet owners do not walk their dogs regularly. And 57% of people who do walk their dogs regularly admit to skipping walks each week for the following reasons: 

  • Unsatisfactory weather (56%)
  • Work Pressures (32%)
  • Difficulties Dealing With the Dog (31%)
  • Family Responsibilities (24%)
  • Laziness (32%)

It is also found that there are plenty of factors that decrease the likelihood of regular walks, including:

  • Having Children at Home
  • Having a Child With the Main Responsibility of Walking the Dog
  • Owning a Dog that Weighs 30 Pounds or Less
  • Age of Dog
